I am an Iowan, born and raised in Cedar Rapids. I was homeschooled K-12 and graduated from both Kirkwood Community College and Coe College.
I am faithful to Jesus, serving him and his kingdom in everything I do. I believe God wants good for the world, and seek to establish his kingdom and his philosophy in all the parts of society I interact with.
I was part of the January 6th, 2021 political protest at the U.S. Capitol, where I became known for publicly praying in the Senate Chamber, for which I eventually spent eleven months in prison.
I’ve written a book about my experience, Hope from the Ashes of
Jan 6, offering some suggestions from my story about what we each can do to bring positive change to our families, schools, churches, workplaces, and communities.
I am part of several organizations, here is a little about each one!

The Well of Iowa
The Well of Iowa Church / The Elim Arrival: I serve my church and the Heartland region by connecting people with the source of love, hope, and joy – Jesus. Jesus wants people to find rest in him and we carry that mission to the lost and broken, building them up to be strong, steady, and whole. We host praise and worship events, calling churches and communities to turn to Jesus and asking God to revive them with his faithful, unfailing love.

I own and operate a wireless internet company in Cedar Rapids with my brothers and father. We believe that people – employees, customers, vendors, etc. – are made in God’s image and, as such, carry inherent dignity. We provide high-quality jobs with growth opportunities to our employees, we deliver excellent customer service from people who care, and we seek win-win deals that make both us and our vendors prosperous.

Empower Iowa

I’m the founder of this school where the care, creativity, and focused attention of homeschool combine with accreditation, structure, and licensed teachers to provide excellence in education. God made learning to be fun and people to be creative – we immerse our students into this philosophy where they naturally thrive. We are on a mission to empower Parents, Teachers, Students, Churches, and anyone who wants to be part of the solution for Education in Iowa to make a positive impact.

I serve on the board for this Christian, grassroots organization focused on securing the liberties endowed to us by our Creator. We recruit, train, and support authentic Constitutional conservatives to the Iowa State Legislature and other public offices. We mobilize Iowans to fight for our liberties, informing and educating them on issues, bills, and actions take, regardless of political party.
